Logies Oud Bergveen

At Oud Bergveen, we do everything to make your stay as relaxing as possible. In the former dormitory of the Steam Cotton Mill of the 3rd Institution in Veenhuizen (1839), we have created three comfortable apartments where you can truly unwind.

The accommodations:

Each apartment is equipped with a cozy sitting area by the wood-burning stove (firewood provided), a TV, an open kitchen with kitchen equipment (combination oven, 4-burner gas stove, and dishwasher), and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and underfloor heating. The first floor consists of a comfortable sleeping loft with two boxsprings with toppers. Of course, there's a good Wi-Fi connection. In the peaceful garden, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the 3rd Institution, and from there, you can easily access the primeval forest.

On the day of arrival, you can check into the apartment from 3:00 PM. On the day of departure, the apartment is available for you until 10:00 AM.

One well-behaved (and leashed on the premises) dog is welcome.

If you prefer us to prepare your breakfast, you are welcome at Klein Soestdijk. There, we have four B&B rooms and serve an extensive breakfast with local products in our charming garden room. As a guest of Oud Bergveen, you are also welcome there.

We, Tamara & Willem, live with our dog Mila in Klein Soestdijk on the Hoofdweg in Veenhuizen, where we run a Bed & Breakfast. Both of us have worked extensively in the cultural sector (theater, film, and advertising), as well as in various other industries, including banking, construction, and hospitality. We enjoy the variety and diversity of guests we have the pleasure of hosting at both locations. Tamara is a massage therapist and has her practice in the right wing of Klein Soestdijk. A treatment during your stay can be a wonderful addition. Please book it in advance to secure a spot.
